In 2021 the International Testing Agency (ITA) entered a partnership with the Central European Anti-Doping Organization (CEADO). The partnership focuses on the coordination of testing and intelligence-sharing. Now both organizations renewed their commitment to enhance clean sport efforts.

A meeting was held in Serbia between the Serbian Minister of Sport, Zoran Gajic and the Chairman of the Board of CEADO, Michael Cepic, the director of Anti-Doping Serbia (ADAS), Dr. Milica Vukasinovic-Vesic as well as the specialist in sport medicine Dr. Eli Handziska (North Macedonia) and the director of the Anti-Doping commission Montenegro Dr. Oliveira Prodanoric.

HUNADO (Hungarian Anti-Doping Agency) in partnership with the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) announced their extensive testing plan for the World Athletics Championships Budapest 23. In total more than 1,100 tests will be conducted around the elite event.
Urine, blood and Dried Blood Spot (DBS) samples will be collected and analysed for a wide range of substances or methods: EPO and Growth Hormones analyses on urine and blood samples; Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometry (IRMS) analyses for steroid doping; and Athlete Biological Passport (ABP) analyses for blood doping and steroid doping. Other analyses such as blood transfusion analyses and analyses for steroid esters will be performed. All samples will be collected by HUNADO and will be analysed at the WADA-accredited laboratory in Seibersdorf, Austria.
