Today an in-person meeting between CEADO Chair, Michael Cepic and CEADO Vice Chair Janko Dvoršak, took place at the NADA Austria headquarter in Vienna. In the center of the one-day exchange was not only the current climate within the international Anti-Doping community, specifically the tense situation between WADA and the US Anti-Doping Agency but also a possible role for CEADO as mediator.

Another topic of the discussion was the soon to be implemented WADA Code 2027 (World Conference, Busan, 2.- 5. December 2025) and how to assist each other among CEADO members by implementing the new rules.

Like many organizations, not only in the sport environment, the CEADO Chair and Vice Chair also spent time to discuss the impact and handling of Social Media and how to create guidelines for this still increasing way of communication. Janko Dvoršak, also CEO of the Slovenian NADO: “It is important to reach out to and include the sport community, especially to young athletes and in the way they communicate, in promoting clean sport and the professionalism and values CEADO stands for.”

Future internal developments like the addition of other interested NADOs from the region rounded up the range of topics which were discussed. Chair Michael Cepic emphasized: “CEADO’s primary goal is to guarantee the same high standard of Anti-Doping work in the region and to foster the collaboration and contribution of current and future members, which are the keys for the continuous success of CEADO."
