A key topic was the revision of the International Standard for Education (ISE). Based on discussions and outcomes from the last meeting of prevention experts of the Council of Europe in Bonn, important innovations and challenges were discussed, and improvement proposals were developed to be submitted to the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).
The second main topic was the training of lecturers. After identifying the commonalities and differences in the respective approaches, it was decided to develop a concept to achieve broad harmonization. The goal is to establish guidelines for the recruitment, training, evaluation, and continuous education and coaching of lecturers.
