The NADO EAG provides expert advice to WADA on matters regarding National Anti-Doping Organizations’ (NADOs) activities, including guidance and recommendations on WADA’s strategies and actions to enhance collaboration and development of NADOs globally. Two members of the NADO EAG will be given a seat in WADA´s Foundation Board.
The new composition and task of the NADO EAG is a key achievement of WADA´s recent governance reform. The 10 members of the NADO EAG will be elected as one of two committees and groups (Athlete Council and NADO EAG) within WADA. Each NADOs of the five regions (Africa, Americas, Asia, Europe, Oceania) will elect two members to the NADO EAG. The election process gives the NADO representatives a high level of legitimation and a strong voice.
Michael Cepic was nominated to be a candidate for the NADO EAG by the Cyprus Anti-Doping Authority (CyADA) and is supported by the national Anti-Doping Organisations that have partnered as CEADO. The election will be held from the 1st until the 3rd of November, 2022.
