Especially at the international level, women play a key role for clean sport. For example, three of the eight anti-doping organizations that work together in the Central European Anti-Doping Organization (CEADO), Croatia, Hungary, and Slovakia, are led by female directors.
Michael Cepic, CEO of NADA Austria, and Chairman of the Board of CEADO, on the International Women's Day: "The proportion of women in anti-doping work shows that some steps have been taken in the right direction in recent years. But there is still a lot of room for improvement regarding the representation of women and girls in sport, especially in decision-making positions. It must be our common goal to take further measures over the next years to promote and use the full potential of female members of society."
