Michael Cepic, who also serves as CEO of NADA Austria, had already been re-elected in November as one of two European representatives. He received 38 out of 48 votes.
His role as Chair of the WADA NADO EAG was confirmed at the group´s meeting in Montreal on 30 March 2026.
The WADA NADO EAG represents the collective voice of National Anti-Doping Organizations (NADOs) and plays a key role in contributing to WADA’s governance and decision-making processes.
At the annual meeting in Montreal, Canada, Rachel Jeongah Kwon of the Korean Anti-Doping Agency (KADA) was elected Vice-Chair. Both will serve on WADA’s Foundation Board for the 2026–2028 term.
Cepic stated: “I thank my colleagues for their trust. This role is both a responsibility and an opportunity to further strengthen global cooperation and ensure effective and harmonized anti-doping efforts to protect clean athletes.”
