Building on Two Successful Editions
Following two highly successful editions – held in Warsaw in 2023 and Belgrade in 2024 – the Summit has become a key platform for the anti-doping community across Central and Eastern Europe. The summit was attended by 60 participants from 26 different countries.
It brings together representatives from National Anti-Doping Organizations, public authorities, legal experts, scientists, and athletes to exchange knowledge and address regional challenges in protecting clean sport. The initiative is coordinated by the Polish Anti-Doping Agency, acting on behalf of CEADO.
Strategic Objectives for 2026
The third edition of the Summit, scheduled for October 2026, will focus on:
- Strengthening international cooperation across the region
- Sharing the latest scientific research and innovations in doping detection and prevention
- Addressing policy challenges and enforcement strategies
- Enhancing education and prevention efforts for athletes and support personnel
- Expanding cross-sector networking opportunities
- Facilitating knowledge exchange between established and developing anti-doping systems
Participation from the World Anti-Doping Agency is expected. WADA President Witold Banka addressed anti-doping leaders at the 2024 Central and Eastern European Anti-Doping Summit in Belgrade.
