Doping control officers from the Anti-Doping Agency of Serbia and Antidoping Center of Republic of Bulgaria took part in the 2026 World Para Judo Championships in Tbilisi. Their role was to support the Georgian Anti-Doping Control and Education Agency
in conducting doping controls at this event. During the competition, they worked directly with Georgian doping control officers, monitored their work in the field and shared their own practical experience.

This mission was part of a Central European Anti-Doping Organization mentoring mission. Through this mission, CEADO member organisations jointly support the development of Georgia's national anti-doping programme. The Championships gave the team a valuable opportunity for direct cooperation and knowledge exchange at a major international sporting event, where timing, logistics and athlete volume put every procedure to the test.

Representatives of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) were also present during the mission, which underlined the international importance of this cooperation.

The mission reflects CEADO's continued commitment to strengthening anti-doping capacity across the region through partnership, mentoring and shared expertise, in the interest of clean sport and fair competition.
