The discussions focused on the importance of maintaining effective, transparent and operationally independent anti-doping programs while ensuring a consistent and harmonized implementation of the World Anti-Doping Code. Both organizations reaffirmed their shared support for WADA's objective of safeguarding the integrity and operational independence of anti-doping programs, recognizing that maintaining athlete confidence in the global anti-doping system requires effective measures to address actual or perceived conflicts of interest. They also emphasized the value of continuous dialogue and international cooperation in supporting the further development of the global anti-doping framework.
The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to exchange perspectives on current developments in anti-doping and to coordinate positions on topics of common interest within CEADO members.
