During the visit, the team engaged with various stakeholders, including government representatives responsible for sports, such as the Ministry of Defence, the Hungarian Anti-Doping Organization (HUNADO), the Hungarian Olympic and Paralympic Committees, the Center for Sports Nutrition Sciences, sports federations, athletes, law enforcement officials, and other organizations involved in anti-doping efforts.
The team was composed of Kaarel Nestor (Ministry of Culture of Estonia), Teemu Japisson (Finnish Center for Integrity in Sports - FINCIS), Gabriela Andreiasu (Romanian NADO, Head of the Evaluation Team), and Graham Arthur (anti-doping expert, Rapporteur).
The findings, recommendations, and best practices will be included in the evaluation report adopted by the Monitoring Group. This report will be shared with Hungarian authorities for tailored recommendations implementation. These evaluations are part of the Monitoring Group's duties under the Anti-Doping Convention, involving annual analysis of member states' anti-doping systems through questionnaires and focused evaluations.
