CyADA and EOKAN presented their applications, emphasizing shared values and the importance of collaboration.
“At CyADA, we’ve always valued strong international cooperation,” stated Michael Petrou, CEO of CyADA. “With our global network and years of engagement in anti-doping, joining CEADO was a natural step”. EOKAN echoed similar sentiments, underscoring their Olympic legacy and deep-rooted commitment to clean sport. Grigoris Leon, CEO of EOKAN emphasized: “The Olympic spirit represents the values of friendship, respect, tolerance, solidarity, and fair play. Exactly the values that CEADO stands for. Therefore, it is the logical conclusion for EOKAN joining CEADO”
The agenda continued with a strategic session between CEADO and the International Testing Agency (ITA), led by ITA Executive Director Benjamin Cohen. This exchange focused on deepening cooperation in the areas of testing and intelligence, marking a high point in CEADO’s commitment to international collaboration.
Since its founding in 2019, CEADO has grown into a vital forum for knowledge-sharing and coordinated action in Central and Eastern Europe. The 2025 meeting in Budapest not only reaffirmed these principles but also demonstrated CEADO’s expanding influence — with the new memberships of EOKAN and CyADA as clear indicators of a strong and unified future.
