At the invitation of the UK Anti-Doping Organisation (UKAD) and the Council of Europe, around 70 prevention experts from the Advisory Group on Education (T-DO ED) met in London from 22–23 September 2026. The focus of the meeting was the new International Standard for Education, which will enter into force on 1 January 2027.

The key topics included the education and continuing professional development and accreditation of educators, and the issue of unintentional anti-doping rule violations resulting from contamination. Researchers presented their current projects on “Clean Sport Behaviours” and emphasised the importance of strengthening cooperation between anti-doping organisations and universities.

Representatives of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) also provided updates on current developments and planned activities for the coming months.

Education Experts from nearly all CEADO member organisations participated in the meeting.

Tomas Pagac from SADA presented the Educator Manual, a joint project of all CEADO education experts. David Müller from NADA Austria and Nina Makuc from SLOADO provided an outlook on the upcoming workshop as part of the EU-funded TALE project.

The successful event once again highlighted the central importance of international exchange and cooperation in advancing doping prevention and anti-doping efforts.
