The CEADO legal experts met to discuss current legal challenges in anti-doping and to work towards a common understanding regarding the implementation of the World Anti-Doping Code (WADC) and the International Standards (IS). The exchange focused on the goal of further harmonizing and standardizing anti-doping work across the CEADO region.
Effective efforts to promote clean sport require consistent legal frameworks and coordinated implementation at both national and international levels. The workshop agenda included presentations on recent changes to the WADC and the International Standards, as well as discussions on key legal topics such as results management, provisional suspensions, procedural assistance, and the independence of hearing panels.
This focused exchange of expertise and best practices once again highlighted the importance of close cooperation among CEADO member organizations in strengthening a unified and effective approach to anti-doping.
