This year’s annual meeting in Lausanne brought together approximately 1,100 representatives from athlete associations, international federations, governments, national and regional anti-doping organizations, major sports event organizers, doping control laboratories, research institutions, and the media. CEADO’s participation in the symposium amplified the voice of the Central and Eastern European region, reinforcing its commitment to clean sport. The collaboration between CEADO and WADA leadership serves as a model for effectively sharing practical expertise and advancing anti-doping efforts.
Michael Cepic, CEADO Chairman and member of the WADA Foundation Board, reflecting on the event: "The symposium in Lausanne has always been a key platform for exchanging ideas with fellow professionals in the anti-doping community. The main focus is on advancing scientific research, strengthening partnerships, and prioritizing athlete-centered approaches to promote clean sport worldwide."
