National Anti-Doping Organizations (NADOs) worldwide together with WADA are custodians of clean sport. NADOs will never support initiatives that threaten clean sport and jeopardize the health of athletes for the sole purpose of monetary rewards under the umbrella of so-called sports competitions.
Michael Cepic, Chairman of CEADO emphasizes that: "The idea to celebrate athletes using performance-enhancing drugs under the umbrella of sport competition undermines decades of work to ensure fairness, safety, and integrity in sport. CEADO stands firmly against such initiatives."
CEADO invites all stakeholders of clean sport (e.g. IOC, Public Health Authorities, Athlete Commissions, Sports Medical Associations, etc.) to raise their voices and to publicly express their opinion that the proposed “Enhanced Games” should have no legitimacy within the global sports community.
Moreover, CEADO encourages all stakeholders within the global sports community to consider implementing measures to restrict participation of athletes, support personnel and other person who support or cooperate with the “Enhanced Games” from all sports competitions and functions falling under the umbrella of the global Anti-Doping system.
