Representatives of the Hungarian National Anti-Doping Organization (HUNADO) met with colleagues from the French Anti-Doping Agency (AFLD) in Paris regarding the organization of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games and the execution of doping control for the event.

The discussions naturally focused on the anti-doping tasks related to the Paris Olympics and other major sports events. Additionally, common points of cooperation between the two organizations were discussed, including practical, cross-border aspects of anti-doping intelligence & investigations, results management and testing practices. Pre-screening of athletes who have qualified for the Paris Olympics is ongoing worldwide, and both organizations are working to ensure that the participating athletes can compete in a clean, doping- free environment. According to previous practice, HUNADO will delegate several anti-doping officers (DCOs) with extensive international experience in the doping control procedures for the summer Olympic Games.”
