The discussions focused on strengthening sustainable, evidence-based approaches to doping-prevention, anti-doping education, and capacity building, with particular emphasis development of sustainable anti-doping systems in the region.
As part of its core mission, CEADO promotes the exchange of knowledge and the development of anti-doping strategies across Eastern Europe. Following the 2021 memorandum of understanding with WADA, CEADO established several mentoring partnerships, including North Macedonia–Serbia (ADAS), to support national anti-doping development. These efforts are aimed at building capacities and ensuring compliance with international standards.
Political representatives of North Macedonia welcomed the cooperation and expressed interest in further collaboration, including future training and institutional development initiatives. Sportsminister Borko Ristovski stated: "I personally believe that a close cooperation between the Ministry of Youth and Sport of North Macedonia, CEADO and ADAS will be beneficial for all involved parties for the benefit of clean athletes!"
